This Geocaching proving trail was established in 2008. Over time some Geocaches had to be archived, however, new ones were added constantly. See the original description for more info.

The Geocaching Proving Trail since 2010

The proving trail is divided into the two categories "Apprentice" and "Graduate". The geocaches belonging to each trail are listed in bookmark lists on geocaching.com.

Cache Zone still gives away Proving Trail Geocoin Sets to Geocacher participating in the trail. Current rules for obtaining a free set:

  • Participants travel more than > 50km to get here
  • A minimum of 10 Geocaches of either or both trails are found within 48 hours
  • Only one Geocoin Set per Geocaching.com account
  • Pick up at Cache Zone (check opening hours)
